What is the Fast App?

The Northeastern University Fast App is a performance-based admissions pathway which allows you to earn graduate admission by completing real coursework.  No need to gather application materials. No need to wait for an admissions decision. Let your performance in your coursework serve as your application into your graduate program.

How it works

After submitting the Fast App, you will gain access to two courses for the upcoming start date (Spring I, Spring II, Summer I, Summer II, Fall I, Fall II). Earn a 'B' grade or higher in both courses and submit your official transcript showing your completed bachelor's degree by the end of the courses to proceed into the full certificate program the following term. 

Certificate requirements

In order to matriculate from your pathway courses into the full program, you’ll need to:

• Earn a 'B' grade or higher in your pathway courses
• Submit your official transcript showing your completed bachelor's degree by the end of the courses.

Note: The Online Graduate Certificate in AI Applications is not F-1 visa eligible.

Cost

Complete the 16-credit program for just under $6.5k, with each credit hour priced at $406.

A one-time $100 deposit* is required to enroll in your pathway courses. This deposit value goes towards the cost of your first tuition payment.

*Deposit is waived for Northeastern faculty and staff.

Eligible programs

Enroll in the Online Graduate Certificate in AI Applications (OGCAA) by submitting your Fast App. Your initial two courses will serve as your 'pathway courses'. Attain a 'B' grade or higher in these courses to secure full admission into the certificate program. 

You may also choose to stack your OGCAA into the Online MBA program upon completion of your certificate.
