The MS in Project Management is accredited by the PMI Global Accreditation Center for Project Management Education Programs. Graduates receive a 12-month reduction credit toward PMI certification experience requirements, shortening the path between completing your degree and earning your PMP or other PMI credential.
A conferred bachelor's degree in any field. No GRE or GMAT required. Two pathways into the program:
Fast App — skip the traditional application by completing two pathway courses (Foundation of Project Management and Project Communications), earning a B or better in each, and providing proof of your bachelor's degree. You join the next cohort and the pathway courses count toward your degree from day one.
Standard Application — direct admission consideration, recommended for international applicants.
Yes. The program is 100% asynchronous with no set class times. Expect 15-20 hours of coursework per course, per week. Most students take one to two courses per term, so the program flexes around your work schedule. Optional live sessions and faculty office hours are available throughout the program for deeper engagement and networking.
Total tuition is $24,600 with the Fast App or $25,400 with the Standard Application. Every learner receives an automatic scholarship through Northeastern Online based on the application path they choose: 6% for the Fast App, 3% for the Standard Application, applied to the $26,146 list price for the 34-credit program.
